bSpeak is available in two versions. The functionality of each version is identical. The difference is described below.
The "Standard" version of
bSpeak includes all the functionality described on the
bSpeak website. The source code is in an encrypted format and cannot be modified, with the exception of the configuration files and other specified files. This version is customizable through the administrative interface and can easily be integrated into your website.
System Requirements
- PHP version 4.2x or later.
- MySQL version 3.23 or later.
- One of the following operating systems: Windows, Intel Linux, FreeBSD, Sparc Solaris, OpenBSD, NetBSD or Apple OSX.
- PHP must NOT be in safe mode and the enable_dl() setting must be set to ON.
To be sure your system will support the standard version of
bSpeak, you may
download this file and run it on your webserver. The resulting output will let you know whether your server is compatible with the
bSpeak standard version. If you have any questions about compatibility, please contact

The "Professional" version of
bSpeak includes all the functionality described on the bSpeak website. The source code is not encrypted and can be modified in accordance with the
bSpeak License Agreement.

bSpeak Standard to Professional Upgrade
|

The "Upgrade" version of
bSpeak will allow a registered user of the "Standard" version to upgrade to the "Professional" version. This upgrade can be purchased at any time after purchasing the "Standard" version of the same release number of
bSpeak.

- A valid license number for the Standard version of bSpeak.
- PHP version 4.2x or later.
- MySQL version 3.23 or later.
